"We had the most amazing trip. The fishing was great. Went swimming. Made campfires went to the Antler Store for ice cream. The lake is beautiful. The cabin is beautiful with plenty of room for our family of four and dog. Plenty of area for the dog to run around and play and swim. We can’t say enough good things about Rachel she was so helpful and quick to respond to the many questions we had. The Refuge at North Padre is an awesome place and we can’t wait to come back next summer. Just a wonderful place. "

"The owners were in communication and the instructions were very clear for the property. Beautiful walking paths through the woods with bunny and deer sightings along the way. Very peaceful and nice to unplug while there. The decor is very cozy and welcoming. "

"We're on a journey to visit every state park in Minnesota. We decided to come to the this area to celebrate my birthday and Father's day. We couldn't have found a better spot. It was super close to one of the parks and it was very quiet and inviting. Loved the subtle touches in the house and how we had everything we needed availabile to us. Very affordable too! Highly recommend to anyone coming to the Side Lake area! "
