I booked a pet friendly room. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. My dog was welcomed with a milk bone! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff at the front desk were very helpful, polite and courteous. The staff who prepared the breakfast were also very polite and friendly. The breakfast was good. The rooms were very clean and well maintained.

Clean and Comfortable. Great Cinnamon Rolls
Once again, the Holiday Inn Express in Thunder Bay did not disappoint. Spacious rooms, clean, great staff and a fantastic breakfast makes this place a good choice. Having the restaurant next door is extremely convenient and there is a gricery store a 3 minute walk away.

A very well kept facility. It’s not a five star accommodation, but everything about it was done well. The room, pool, hall, breakfast room were very clean, orderly and well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My wife and I were quite pleased with our stay. It’s not unusual for a hotel to have a lightbulb out, scuff marks on the walls, or something in disrepair. I did not see anything that caught my attention. I applaud the fine job done.

Hotel is a bit dated but the room was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. OPP vehicles in the parking lot overnight gave some peace of mind with the car.

Friendly staff at front desk and breakfast room. Great beds and shower pressure. Sofa bed in room was a plus so my sons didn’t have to sleep together. Just ask for a bed in a bag at the front desk.

Very beautiful decorations. Overall it's a very old building, the wallpaper inside the room is a little bit scratched and a little bit dirty. Otherwise, the front desk is friendly, the environment is cozy.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a very nice selection of everything you could want in a hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, the eggs were over cooked to the point that they were inedible. The wallpaper is out room was stained or dirty but otherwise the room was comfortable and nice & clean.
