« Staying here has been the worst experience, forget other aspects, staff is not only incompetent but crooks as well. We booked classic room which was confirmed and when we reached the property, they claimed they are all booked and issue was with website. We had to settle for a much cheaper room since it was already late under the promise that they would refund the difference which they agreed to but never did. The room was smelly and there was no hot water. Staff acts oblivious to any issue if...

« This appeared to be the most luxurious hotel in the area. We had previously stayed at A.J. Grand and found it did not have sufficient ameneties in the room and booked at Vivanta for the second night of our stay in Mangalore. Really happy we made the switch! The lobby and restaurants were upscale. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean, modern, and had everything one would expect. Some delightful points: 1) Eventhough the hotel is situated on a busy junction, but rooms were very well insulated, never felt any trafic noise filtering into the room. 2) Hotel Staff was very prompt & helpful in their checkin support & during our stay. 3) Rooms were very clean & well maintained. « The Hotel has impressive service. During our stay in Mangalore, there was a curfew imposed in the city. All restaurants and transport options were shut down. However, the hotel went out of it’s way to help customers. The Hotel owner personally dropped guests to nearest railway station in his car as no taxis or rental cars were willing to ply.
