"Our room was small but the shower room was a good size. The room was well presented and quiet. The common areas in the maim building are comfortable, well decorated and interesting. This is an Edwardian building which has kept it's charm. The hotel is well placed for the promenade of La Baule and the lovely market with its beautifully presented, fresh produce. It is delightful to walk the nearby streets and see the villas and large houses of the art nouveau period."

"Really nice property only 10 minutes walk from the beach. Tiny kitchen but a double ceramic hob with kettle, microwave and sink was more than enough. Plenty of parking. Small pool and garden."

"This was a great base to explore the region. The host prepared the space with care and it was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a dish washer and washing machine. We really appreciated the baby crib and high chair. The only down side was the heat. The listing noted air conditioning, but there didn’t seem to be any vents. We tried using what appeared to be an A/C panel, but nothing happened. Most days of the year this probably would not be a problem, but we had trouble sleeping due to the heat in July. Maybe this should be taken off the listing. Otherwise, it was a great stay."

"Beautifully restored to a very high standard. Spacious and airy and very well equipped and appointed. Tastefully furnished with style and with good bathrooms, comfortable beds and quality linen. Excellent outdoor seating and surrounding woodland with abundant bird and wildlife. Many interesting places to visit as well as beautiful beaches and coastline. "
