"The Colessio is perfectly situated for exploring the historic old town and castle and for venturing down the hill to the town centre. I cannot fault anything from walking into a light and comfortable reception to leaving after a tasty and filling Scottish breakfast after one of the most comfortable night's sleeps I've ever had in a hotel. The bed was just perfect as was the room and its amenties."

"We stayed in the backpackers room with ensuite bath for two night. The room was quite small (as advertised) but bed was comfortable. The first night we were there was a Saturday and being on the first floor we could hear a lot of coming and going with other people going to the bathroom and there was bass from the music at the restaurant next door until midnight or so. The Sunday night was much quieter with no music and we slept quite well. The breakfast was great with some continental options as well as the host making us coffee, eggs, and toast. The host was extraordinarily helpful when we needed anything and was very easy to reach by messaging, she really made the place feel so welcoming. The building itself is an older building but it was very clean and it was so cool to be staying inside the old town wall!"

"I really liked the hotel, my room was so cute. Luckily they installed a second set of windows on my bay window and it really helped reduce the noise from the walkway below. It was definitely right downtown and the party folks used the walkway late into the night. I missed that they did not have parking.. you have to pay for parking. Staff was helpful in choosing a good location (behind the hotel or down the street), but I’d prefer included parking. Staff is not there full time, but were helpful when there."

"Great place and close to just about everything Stirling. Walk to central Stirling, castle, and train and bus station. Tesco is also a close walk. If you get a completely rained out day - there is a great Hollywood Bowl location close by. And a good kitchen you can actually cook in. And, the local manage was super helpful (thanks Carole)! Will be back."

"The apartment was clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient, only 150m away and very reasonably priced. The location was excellent with good restaurants nearby. It had a combination washer/dryer, which is one reason we chose it but there were no instructions as to how to use it. Written instructions would help. My only complaint was since there is no air conditioning, they should supply fans for the bedrooms."
