« We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable. The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...

« What a beautiful place, quaint but with all the mod cons and very clean. The host literally had provided everything we could have needed. the best rental experience we ever have had. Beautiful views from the garden and hot tub. Quiet and secluded and very spacious for the whole group. We enjoyed our evening sunset drinks, the hot tub and fire pit in particular. »

"Felt like being part of a cruise for some reason, the entertainment, size of the hotel, gave that ambiance. The rooms need to be refreshed (the bathroom was old) but all in all, we still had a good time in Folkestone so I'd still give it a 7 if I had to rate the experience."
