The spa wasn’t open, but everything else was clean since it’s a new hotel.

Breakfast was good.

I loved the decor of the hotel and the rooms were spacious and nice. The bed was a little hard for me; but i’m the type who prefers a soft mattress. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was very nice. I liked that they had a free water and coffee station that is available 24/7. They also have breakfast (for an extra cost) and it was ok. I recommend passing on it, but if you need something quick there are options there. I would recommend this hotel to others, and I would book again if I come back to Budapest

Having read some of the reviews prior to the holiday, I was a little unsure what to expect. However, there's really no need to worry - so long as your expectations are in line with the price range. If you're expecting a 5-star Berlin Ritz type experience, you may wind up feeling a little underwhelmed. If, however, you're expecting quaint, old world charm and you're happy with some minor quirks (such as the reception being on the 3rd floor and breakfast being served in the adjacent restaurant) then you'll love it. The staff were great; really warm, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day (despite some reviews saying otherwise) and the location is great. Overall, we'd have no hesitations in coming back.
