Bedding: King, queen sofa sleeper \*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.\* The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). This is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo with king bed , queen sofa sleeper and full kitchen. Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn. The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn. This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Just a short walk to Lift 7 and a 5-minute walk to the Telluride gondola. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The one-bedroom space was clean and well appointed. It had everything we need for a relaxing stay. The two hot tubs were warm and appeared to be new. There was even a grilling station and a nice space for socializing. That is why we chose this property over others that did not guarantee parking. When we arrived however on site parking was not available and we had to scrounge around for on street public parking.The property mgr said she sent out a form letter the week before that advised that because of festival weekend on site parking would be limited.We didn’t think that applied to our booking since we had confirmed at the time of our booking that it would be. FALSE ADVERTISING! The unit is nothing special,way overpriced for what you get and poorly supplied with essentials that are provided at most VRBO’s.
