"The New Bedford Harbor Hotel was a delight from the very beginning! When you walk in to the foyer/restaurant and grill, you’re greeted with decorative details that instantly set your expectations high for a quality experience! Check-in was quick and efficiently done! I actually ended up having to check in rather early in the morning and it concluded in seconds! When I headed up to my room, from the time I opened the door, I was greeted by wonderful interior design and a high-end resort like aroma that graced my room! There are some signs of wear and tear overall, but you can tell that this building is cared for, clean, safe, pleasing! The staff is kind and ready to assist you with whatever your needs may be. This was so much more than just a place to sleep during my work travels. It really did feel like a mini vacation because of the quality experience The New Bedford Harbor Hotel offers. The only downside, I would say, is learning that the ample parking is a walk away from the property. This was information I wish I had prior to booking, as my stay was during a major storm. If you are booking your stay, there are two things you can do. If you can secure it, street parking is free after 6 PM and the walk to the parking lot is not that far, it’s about two city blocks. I will definitely be coming back for another stay!"
