Very special place! Cool and hip without being irritating and pretentious. Rivals any place I've stayed at in NYC, even it's affiliate - The Crosby. Wonderful staff made everyone feel at home. Interesting building and layout. Great location that is convenient for the metro but not excessively “touristy”. Guests sensitive to noise should be aware that the hotel has a restaurant in an internal courtyard and one side also faces on to a narrow but very busy road. Rooms have excellent sound proofing and I’m sure staff can accommodate requests for rooms in other parts of the hotel. A very enjoyable stay.
