- This area is rich in interesting geological features namely the Mount nestled at the end of a sandy peninsular which is now covered in houses and holiday homes.
Views from the top are so extensive that one can see from Coromandel in the North to White island in the East and all the extensive curved beaches in between.
Sports include fishing, sailing and power boat racing, skydiving and gliding and all manner of water sports
