This property has the most gorgeous views of the lake! It is close to restaurants and walking trails! Easy check-in with the staff who were very nice!

Excellent place to stay. Warm fuzzy blanket on bed. Murphy bed was comfortable big size of the one bedroom. Great location. Helpful staff. Pool was heaven. Must stay if you’re in Taupo.

We found the staff very welcoming and helpful. The location is fantastic, not too many units and a very family friendly feeling. The building is well maintained and has a warm pool and just right hot tub! Nice seating areas outside, each unit has a balcony or deck, bbqs to use, and I appreciated the washer and dryer ($2 a load). Really enjoyed our stay

Beautiful accommodations, we would definitely return!

Loved the place. Very nice and welcoming owners, well stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, big rooms, great location right across from the lake. Little extra touches including beach towels, a night light and shortbread cookies.

Excellent stay, great location by the lake. Comfortable and clean. Hosts were very friendly, efficient and helpful! The pool was very nice, and the water was warm. We would definitely stay at The Reef again.

Wonderful property and location. Additionally the hosts (Di and Tony) were tremendous. Lot’s to see and do in the area.

We loved the location in Taupo, the thermal baths, the views! The owner was exceptionally nice and provided lots of helpful information. It was also well equipped for us to be self-sufficient while seeing all of the sights in the area.
