What a surprise to find a new design-forward hotel smack in the centre of Hobart’s wharf district. The hotel’s architecture is beautiful and modern, and the rooms are spacious and cutting-edge in terms of design. They are also super quiet which is surprising in such a busy area. A charming older heritage property with a small private garden, manicured to perfection. The continental breakfast was superb and the service provided by Jeff and Julie was exceptional. The bedrooms are done in period decor but ours provided inadequate lighting for those who like to read. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We had a harbour view, and it was fantastic. The place is very central, so getting to preferred destinations was easy. The staff were helpful and full of suggestions.

Overall great stay. It sure how many of their stays are two nights like us, but having handy the top things to do in town and in the area would be great. Better yet, offer to send it in advance. The other thing I would say is that there needs to be more hooks on the walls so two people can each hang a towel, toiletries bag plus clothes you plan to put on after a shower. This is consistently an observation for all accommodations.

Bedding, towels and linen are high quality. Kitchen is fully equipped with coffee, teabags, sugar and a litre of whole milk on arrival. Parking includes a single car garage and parking spaces outside. Great view of Mount Wellington and Hobart from the upstairs living room and deck. Short drive to Eastlands mall and restaurants in Bellerive. Both are within walking distance. Emily and team were in regular contact with emails in case we needed anything.
