Family/Holiday Visit
We enjoyed the condo. It is nicely decorated and the layout is good. It was a long drive at night and that is something to consider especially if it is snowy. The unexpected water problems were disappointing, but I know that was not the fault or in the control of the owner. They did keep us updated and offered a discount which we appreciated.

Wonderful studio experience
This was one of the nicer places we have stayed at. The place is really well decorated and set up. Very comfortable sleeping and sitting areas. We only used the kitchen to boil water so cannot really speak on the cooking experience. Our friends were getting married at the Phoenix so the location was optimal for us. If you want to have groceries or restaurants close at hand, however, they are all at least 10 mins drive away. The drive up was fine, but definitely not something I would want to do in the winter or early spring time with snow on the ground. The gravel road had steep inclines in parts. If our travels took us back to New Mexico, we would definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay BUT can be difficult to get to
Had an amazing stay in the condo and in Taos. Location is awesome BUT be careful on what your transportation is. I have a 4WD and I couldnt make it up to the place. Hannah was extremely kind, helpful and caring about our stay but we did have a problem getting to the actual condo. So just beware of the terrain getting up. Other than that it was an amazing time and Hannah is a great host!

Great location for ski resort access. Very cozy but also very functional. We were very happy that the driveway was plowed twice during and after heavy snowfall. My one suggestion is to provide a snow shovel.

Perfect near-slopeside spot for 1-2 people
Stayed here for a solo 3 nights and couldn't ask for a better spot. Able to walk to lift #4 in the morning (about 8 minutes from door to lift). The studio itself was comfortable and had every amenity- washer/dryer, dishwasher, quality gas stove, fast Wi-Fi, great water pressure/hot water in the shower, and a faux-fireplace to boot. Plus, there was a guitar and a whole library of Cavlin & Hobbes books- plenty to keep me occupied in the evenings. Don't stay here if you're looking for nightlife, but it's a great quiet retreat for 1-2 people. Also, the road to the condo is steep and slick. Don't even consider driving up here without 4-wheel drive and some winter driving experience.

A fantastic location to ski Taos. About a 20 second drive or a five minute bootpack to lift 4 / rubezahl (easiest to drive as there is parking). Very serene and quiet - definitely reccommend if you need some day to get away from everything and just be.

The perfect spot!
We absolutely LOVED this place! It felt like home the moment we walked in, such a welcoming cozy vibe up on the mountain. Very close to lift 4 and the Bavarian and we loved everything about our entire stay. The place is even better than pictured and the host was amazing with communication. Will recommend to everyone!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy condo; it was just perfect for us. And the setting! Wow! The owner was very accommodating, and communication was open and easy. I highly recommend.

Incredible Mountain Condo!
I have so many good things to say about this rental, I'm not even sure where to begin. The location is incredible. If you love the mountains, you're going to love it here. It's very close to ski lifts in the winter, yes, but it's also so close to one of the coolest hiking trails in New Mexico! The property manager was very quick and friendly with communication, and went out of her way to answer my questions about the Taos area, best places to eat, etc. (I have a gluten and dairy-free diet due to allergies) well before my arrival. The property was exactly as pictured, but cooler! I loved the coziness of it (I did have a guest for one night of my stay, and it was really cozy and just roomy enough for both of us). It's very clean and well-maintained, with a kitchen stocked with plenty of gear for cooking, with microwave popcorn packets, instant oatmeal, fresh drinking water in the fridge, and more. If you have a vehicle that can handle very steep incline and lots of switchbacks, go for it (had I known it was quite so far up in the mountains-mountains I would have been hesitant to book, but my car made it just fine and I'm so glad I did!). You'll need four-wheel drive and maybe snow tires to make it up in the winter. I absolutely loved the chill vibe and pure mountain air - the sweetest I've ever breathed. This is a great rental and I'll absolutely be back (and maybe bringing more guests with me!).

A true piece of pure PEACE!
I won't be able to say enough! I'm a local New Mexican, needed a place while my house got worked on. This space was a truly welcome break from the heat and civilization. Epic views, so many wonderful thunderstorms that reverberate 360 degrees around you! Wildflowers everywhere! So unbelievably quiet at night. The space is small but is thoughtfully laid out... closet area is huge and held all my belongings! Super comfy bed, and a great kitchen too! I will admit, my windows never closed, so many birds to hear, hummingbirds galore, the perfect sounds of nature. Seriously the only thing that could make this place better would be to remove it from the condo building and have it as a stand alone tiny house. The walls are thin and you are on the bottom floor, but sheesh, that's a first world thing to complain about. I would love staying here an entire season. The host, Hannah Just added to the peaceful, easy, lovely experience. Off of the corny gushing review... I will be back to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay so much and we were so impressed with the condo. It was perfect in size and comfort! The very best thing about this condo is the proximity to the trailhead for Williams Lake trail and Wheeler Peak. We give this condo a 5 star rating!! Excellent!!

I could really tell how much love and care was put into the composition of the mountain-side studio suite. It was super close to the lifts at Taos and it was a perfect home base for two great ski days. Thank you so much for having us!
