« Thank you for an incredible ski vacation! The location of the condo is wonderful, our two young kids were able to walk to/from the access to the mountain which is very convenient. They also loved sledding outside and over by chair 4. The condo setup was great, clean and had all the amenities to make our stay extra enjoyable - heated garage to unload the ski stuff after a long day was a bonus! We loved posting up here in the mountains and not moving our car for days. Final dinner at the Bavarian...

« Great family vacation! Beautiful views from all the windows. The kids loved the loft beds. All cookware we needed for cooking meals was there. Short walk to grocery store, coffee shop and stores. Host was very kind and quick to answer questions. Only downside was issues with water heater not working for 2 days. Bring your quarters for the washer/dryer! »

« Our visit to the Hiker's Studio in the Taos Ski Valley was a great trip - the space as expected is compact, and located well up the mountain at 10200 feet of elevation. Plan for a scenic but slow drive up from the base to the cottages, however once you're there the Bavarian Restaurant, Lift 4, and the skiing area are a short walk from the front door of the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and there is in-room laundry equipment (bring your own soap) if your stay is longer...

« The place had pretty much everything needed as far as kitchen supplies and toilet paper, etc. it is nicely decorated and clean and quiet. it is an upstairs unit which I was not aware of. This is probably good for being quiet and a good view off the balcony but up 2 flights of stairs from the parking. Also, the fireplace is wood burning and not gas. »

« This was a great location to the lift but still drove our snowboarders back and forth. I do believe other times it can be a ski in and out. Having the 2 rooms joined by the kitchen was a great lay out for our family. Communication with the owners was easy and convenient. Our check in and out was seamless. »

« The condo is a legitimate two bedroom/two bathroom and was well stocked and is very nice. There is a nice loft.However, it should be noted that the condo is 1.8 miles from the ski village up a steep, alpine road with multiple switchbacks. You should have AWD and be comfortable with this type of driving.While Lift 4 is convenient it is still 0.2 miles a way and would not technically be considered ski in - ski out. »

« For the most part, it's okay. But the very narrow and steep spiral staircase to get up to the bed in the loft is a huge pain in the butt. The stairs to get to the door, and then the stairs to get to the condo, and then the stairs to get up into the loft...all that makes for a good workout. »

"Les photos sur le site et les noms des chambres ne correspondent pas à la réalité. Nous avions réservé une chambre "romantique" il ne s'agit en réalité que d'une "suite" classique, rien de romantique, pas la même décoration que sur les photos. La télé ne fonctionnait pas, on m'a vaguement parlé d'un ajustement du prix en conséquence, remboursé sur la carte ayant servi au paiement, mais à ce jour je n'ai rien vu arriver. Tant pis. Malgré ça, l'hôtel est bien situé, calme, et les chambres sont ok. Un peu loin du vrai centre ville cependant, et pas grand chose à voir visuellement avec le style Adobe de Taos. Nous avons vu des hôtels qui avaient l'air plus sympas un peu plus loin sur la route, et plus proche du centre. Mon conseil donc : ne pas hésiter à choisir un autre, même si celui là est convenable. "
