This is a really beautiful hotel and the location was quite convenient. The breakfast was very well done especially The omelette bar and the s cookies. The room itself is nice and clean and modern but quite tight for size. The hallways feel like you're walking in a cruise ship even though I haven't been in a cruise ship before but I imagine them looking like that and no one gets a good view out of that hotel because of the design on the outside. We really liked the location. Only 20 minures from the airport and walking distance to the city centre and tourist attractions. The breakfast had a great selection to choose from and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

It wasn’t obvious where the “Main Door” was but once someone pointed me at it, the app to open it as well as the apartment door was great, though it would be nice if there was a deadbolt or other security lock. I didn’t realize it was not a proper hotel but is actually a ghost hotel, with no front desk, luggage storage, restaurant, gym, services, etc. That said, the condo was really nice, spotless, spacious, and had everything I needed. The washing machine was very practical as I was mid-trip...

To get to the hotel one has to walk thru a tunnel when arriving by train, at dark not the nicest thing to do.
However the hotel is excellent, very nice. clean and modern facility, great breakfast, nice rooms.
If walking thru the tunnel, at the end of it go right away up to the street level above, do not walk along the street car track divider to the next crossing of the street. You can also by pass the tunnel by going thru the station corridor and up to the street above..

this is an excellent property, but I did not like the overuse of the colour black as it is depressing . the whole bathroom was painted black including the floor , so I could not tell whether it was extremely clean

The best area to stay in Tampere is the city centre, particularly around the Central Square (Keskustori) and the Tammerkoski rapids, as it offers the most convenient access to attractions and amenities.
The city centre is the heart of Tampere, bisected by the Tammerkoski rapids, which flow between two large lakes, Näsijärvi and Pyhäjärvi. This area is highly walkable, with pedestrian-friendly streets like Hämeenkatu, the main thoroughfare, and boasts a mix of historic industrial architecture and modern facilities. You'll find many shops, restaurants, and cultural venues concentrated here.
Couples will find the city centre an excellent base. They can enjoy romantic strolls along the rapid-side walkways, visit the Tampere Cathedral with its unique frescoes, or explore the varied dining options. The proximity to attractions like the Sara Hildén Art Museum, accessible via a short bus ride or pleasant walk, and the vibrant Finlayson area with its converted factory buildings housing shops and eateries, makes it ideal for a leisurely trip.
For solo travellers, the city centre provides easy access to public transport, making it simple to explore further afield. The area around the railway station is particularly convenient for day trips. You'll also find plenty of cafes for a quiet moment and various museums, such as the Moomin Museum, offering engaging experiences.
