Playa Langosta is a high-end neighborhood in Tamarindo, Surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and exuberant nature, this is the best place for vacations.
It is located a short 2-minute drive on a brand new cement road or a 15-minute walk where you will be able to see monkeys and exotic birds along the way.

The beach has tide pools perfect for little kids to discover colorful fish and your occasional octopus.
Towards the estuary (less than 100 from the public entrance) you have calm and refreshing waters with plenty of shade and right in front of it you have the local's favorite surf spot, It is common to see lots of people with their surfboards walking around or even in their bicycles.

There is a store with all the products you need and 3 restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

You will have access to the entire property.

Tamarindo is 1 hour away from the Liberia Airport, you can arrange shuttles or car rentals through us with special prices and discounts.

Once in Tamarindo you can rely on the informal taxi service or rent an ATV to move around and discover some amazing beaches 30 minutes away from us.

First time to Costa Rica

The property was fantastic, exactly as it was listed. The pool was amazing. The rooms were great. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, make coffee and beverages. The proximity to beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and tours was perfect. Communication with Lola the host was easy with quick response. If you are light sensitive when you sleep, you might need a mask for the security lights are bright. Highly recommend

Exceptional Villa

The villa is absolutely amazing situated in a great spot, easy access to everything, short walk to the beach with fabulous beachfront restaurants all along the main road. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this hidden gem to all our family and friends. Thank You for a truly unforgettable experience!

Very disappointed

I would not ever book this property. One of the bedrooms (the one that is separate from the house) was infested with mosquitos. The grill was not working. The bed mattresses were very uncomfortable and of poor quality. The furniture inside and out was very uncomfortable, couch very small and stained. The two chairs across from the couch, very uncomfortable had 2 seat cushions but missing the covers. Very small TV. For two nights , for hours, I heard scurrying on the roof, we notified the management group that we saw the racoon, and was told they were everywhere, but they would send someone out to check it out. We came home and found dirt and grit all over the bed, floor and my clothes. The room was filthy! Again notified the management company who initially said they didn't have anyone to come clean, since i persisted, they sent 2 housekeepers who took pictures and cleaned as best they could. My clothes were completely soiled with the dirt and grit that came from the roof through the ceiling. Also very stingy with supplies.

Quiet home outside of town

We had a great stay at the home in Playa Langosta. We were a group of two couples and spent three nights here. The home had plenty of space for us but could definitely use some TLC as it looks much more updated in the photos. The pool seemed really dirty some days which prevented us from swimming. The home was really safe with plenty of locks to keep you feeling secure but the location was about a 20 minute walk from the center of Tamarindo where we spent most of our time. If I were to go again we would definitely rent golf carts to get around! The home provided towels and anything else we really needed and the property managers were super responsive with any questions we had!

We booked Casa Tropical from Dec 22 to Jan 2, I had read a review on VRBO after we had booked that the individual liked the space but there were a couple of issues with the finished of the home. To our surprise and delight the space is amazing. Apparently the owners saw the review and took the comments to heart.. the beds, the linens, the whole space is incredibly cozy, tranquil and accessible to everything you need. They have also added a separate casita that is amazing.. the pool, the barbecue, the space surrounding the pool is incredible. This home and space provides everything you want and need to get away and relax and if you want beaches and restaurants, super easy access and closeness.. you can walk to everything or drive if you choose. We have been lucky to have met Josef, Mao and Lola of RPM Property Mgmt. They have been fantastic to deal with and are very quick to answer any questions.

Nice place with a few issues

This was a great property, with reservations. Loved the room and the pool. Mattress was horrible. Broken. They moved in another newer one that was rock hard but much better. Poolside table had three broken chairs. Dresser drawers full of nasty old linens and pillows. Other minor issues that were really just bad communication by management. I’d recommend this a lot more of they spruced it up a bit and gave accurate check in info.
