"The owner (Jónas) was very friendly and helpful, and provided lots of insider information about the people and places around town. Our room was very quiet, which was welcome - but I should have asked for fresh towels, as they didn’t dry fully even a day later and needed to lay on the heater. Warning: the bathroom ran out of hot water by my turn to shower the first morning, so I knew enough to get up VERY early the next day. We were surprised that breakfast wasn’t provided, though the listing showed it as included - but Jónas messaged me in advance so we knew to bring food with us. He did have really good coffee and tea, so could function. :) (This late in the season, one restaurant was down to “We have char, cod, or fish soup made of cod” so this isn’t unusual for the area.)"

Dinner was amazing: I had a gorgeous salad and a delectable Arctic Char dish; my husband was craving a hamburger, and it was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the coffee was the best on our road trip."
