![We stumbled upon this little café on our way to Ísafjörður from Patreksfjörður, and what a find! This was probably the best meal I've ever had in Iceland. We each had coffee, freshly-made quiche, chickpea salad, and garlicky hummus with fresh-baked bread. We also shared soup made with coriander and freshly-caught fish, and a piece of carrot cake. "Very spacious house with plenty of rooms and outdoor space to accommodate a small to large gathering. This is a great launching point to discover the Westfjords area. The home is well supplied for cooking and has plenty of supplies! There is a natural hot-spring pool nearby (5 minutes). The views from the family room/dining area are beautiful!!"

"Unfortunately the owner was unable to accommodate us, but did not communicate this with us. Only when we arrived and found it dark/closed up and reached out to him did we find out. He was very apologetic, but this lack of communication left us scrambling for a place to stay and an extra hour of driving. Not ideal. "
