If you want a cost-effective, no-frills place to stay at that has breakfast and a communal hot tub to relax in, I don’t think any other place else comes close. The staff is generally friendly. Provided breakfast is more than what can be expected for the room. The Single Inn provides a shirt and shorts for the duration of the stay (e.g. for sleeping). First, I like how they are actual separate rooms with enough room for my suitcase and to lay it down to pack. The top floor has a public bath that was empty each time I went so it was comfortable and relaxing. There are convenience stores right around the corner and there is a station close by, like 5 min (though I often just walked to Banqiao Station which is about 10 min away) The shared commonplace was spacious but the only downside was the water machine broke down on my second or third day but they brought in some water machines. Also, sometimes it felt the AC was not working cause I'd wake up in a huge sweat in the middle of the night.
