He had lots of information ready for guests about local businesses and transportation. He was also very willing to help out whenever needed. The hotel is hard to find because its location is wrong on Google and there is no large sign or name visible from the street. I called him and he came out to show me where it was immediately. There is no elevator and the hotel is a converted 4 story apartment where the first three floors are rented out so its not good for people in a wheelchair. The AC works great in the rooms and you get wifi and fresh towels, toothbrush, shaver and shower supplies. He cleans the room once a day. He also gives you a set of keys to get in the front door as well as your bedroom. It's not really a hostle, it's more of a house-to-hotel conversion and I rented a single room that is just like a Taiwanese apartment. It has nice cute Japanese and Anime decorations to add atmosphere. Great value! If you're looking for a simple and clean place to stay.
