I found it a bit difficult to communicate with reception due to the language barrier but they insisted on trying to help regardless and when the on duty receptionist didn’t understand, she was resourceful in asking her colleague. I saw quite a few complaints about noise levels..I’m from a big city so maybe I’m just used to it but this didn’t seem any more or less sound proof than the average hotel in a busy urban area. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The hotel is convenient to the Riverside Park and several restaurants are nearby. The staff were pleasant. Our only complaint was the breakfast. It was a set breakfast that was delivered to the lobby at either 7 or 9am the day we were there. There was no choice of tea or coffee and we got 2 iced teas. My husband prefers coffee. While we don't need a buffet breakfast, it would have been nice to have some choice with perhaps some fresh fruit instead of an egg dish and a sandwich. 靠近台中火車站，走路大約15-20分鐘。附近景點宮原眼科、綠川水岸廊道、臺灣太陽餅博物館、大魯閣新時代、繼光街商圈。晚餐可以去電子街品嚐汕頭牛肉劉沙茶火鍋，吃飽可以去中華路夜市逛逛。隔天早上可以去路口吃粉漿蛋餅或是走路3-5分鐘..台中百年第二市場吃中式早餐。荷米旅居櫃檯人員服務態度良好，房間隔音OK、蓮蓬頭水量超大、床墊也很好睡、廁所標配免治馬桶（很加分👍），飯店有配合特約停車場🅿️，下次來台中首選荷米旅居🙌🙌🙌。
