"This was a great place to stay. The hotel has been around for a while so the furniture and fixtures could use an upgrade, but the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. We had trouble with the air conditioning on the first night and they had a maintenance person on staff that fixed it. They responded within 5 minutes of calling it in. The Tuscan style decor with live plants and a waterfall made the stay very relaxing. The free breakfast buffet was the star of the show. Beyond the usual continental breakfast menu items, there was a chef on staff that made omelets and other items fresh and specifically made to order. There were staff members that came by to clear your plates and were willing to get whatever you needed. It may not be brand new but it definitely has a lot more character than a lot of the alternative budget friendly options."
