Great little getaway for some kid free recharging. Property is super nice and as expected from the description. Excellent value for the price, friendly hosts and very quiet. Would stay here again.
We booked for 1 night, and it exceeded our expectations. The decor is great! We loved the set up. The host thought of everything someone might need. We were both extremely pleased.
The property is only 5 minutes from town making it convenient to grab a bite to eat.
We hope that one day we can here stay again.
Ms.Judy is absolutely an amazing host! I needed a short break and gor just that. The hot tub was so relaxing and the decorations for Ms.Hen House, was absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for having us.
I am thrilled. I chose the hen house as a pitstop on my travels! It felt like stumbling upon one of life‘s hidden gems, and I’m eager to share it with my friend so they can experience its charm too. The cozy country decor and fantastic, hot tub provided me the perfect peace and serenity I was craving. Judy really set the bar for places to stay and I hope to return again!
Really loved staying here. It was very neat - and a great, convenient setting. Everything was well stocked, and the host was very thoughtful. We loved the various decorative touches around the property. We were a little skeptical when we drove up as it is basically right in front of the host's house, but they are great hosts - and we felt very secluded. There was also some really good wildlife.
One note: If you are someone like me who sleeps with no lights and a very quiet environment be aware - this is a small, cozy place. The AC and fridge are a little noisy - not overly-they work great. But if you have trouble sleeping with those types of noise - be prepared. I loved the property - so it was fine, but wanted to give all information if you want to stay here.
The theme was fantastic - the directions were great - the entrance to the property was very well marked, and the the host created a great place to get away, We only stayed one night on our way to Palo Duro Canyon from San Antonio - but that one night was very relaxing and enjoyable.
We enjoyed our time there for our anniversary. It was so relaxing and beautiful to get away from the city life. Host really outdid themselves with making it feel super cozy and homey. Will definitely be coming back soon!
This stay was great for me and my wife! The sign with our names on it for our anniversary was very sweet! We love tiny homes and look to make this a tradition of ours going forward!
Awesome property. Very peaceful and such a beautiful and relaxing place. The property has gorgeous landscaping and is decorated in such a cute way. We would definitely love to stay here again.
Hot tub was clean hot and easy to use! Judy is so accommodating and her hospitality it top tier! Star gazing and the WASP museum was an enjoyable experience!
Very quiet and relaxing. Everything we needed was there. Especially loved the hot tub- it helped my husband’s bad back so much. Bed was very comfy. The only thing I would suggest is directions on how to use the tub (if it can be used). Could only figure out the shower. Also not much hot water for 2 people to shower. And maybe directions for the split unit remote. I knew how to use it because I have one at work- but it can be confusing.Would definitely stay again! Thanks!
