"Great cabin for a short summer vacation in Mammoth Cave. Very easy check in, check out process. One of the cleanest vrbo we had stayed in. Very comfortable and nicely decorared. Keep in mind, driving to the park visitor center is about 40 minutes. That is where all cave tours start. We really enjoyed biking and hiking in the park as well. Also, keep in mind that Nolin lake park is closed due to flood damage. I didnt realized it and was kind of dissapointed that we couldnt use their beach area and hiking trails. Overall it was a great stay. Recommended."

"Daughter & I stayed 4 nights as a base to visit Nolin Lake & Mammoth Cave NP away from the tourist crowds. MCNP is 45 minutes away on scenic, rural roads. Best thing about this rental: access to the neighborhood boat ramp with adjacent swimming area, a 5 minute walk away or you can drive & park there. The bottom is sandy/rocky, not muck. This saved our visit to the area, booked before I learned that the public beaches on Nolin Lake & most of NLSP are closed due to spring flooding, expected to be closed for the season. We enjoyed floating in the lake & enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets there. Our host was responsive the few times we messaged. The cottage had everything we needed - used the firepit & kitchen to make a few meals. The AC was needed & appreciated. Nice seating area outside. Cottage is in a wooded neighborhood of cottages & RVs & situated for outdoor views. Neighbors were very friendly. Would recommend. Good for groups, families, little ones, people w mobility issues. Other than a few steps to the door, the cottage is all one level & you can park close to the door. "
