Hotel Mudita

Boudhha

10/10 Excellent

Everyone at the Hotel Mudita is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They go out of their way to ensure I am comfortable and are accomodating to anything I may need. One of my main reasons for choosing the hotel was that there is a restaurant on site; the quality of the food is great; and there is a variety of choices. There are so many good things I could say-extended my stay for several more weeks. Highly recommend!

I stayed here four years ago. That made my hotel choice easy. Nice quiet location near a short shopping street with a few restaurants nearby. A fabulous attentive Five Star staff! The Tibetan-themed décor is absolutely fabulous - amazing details. One can just keep looking to see more and more especially in the lobby. The Yeti Bar and Terrace on the 5th floor is a good place to eat, drink and unwind; and chat with other world travellers. Great breakfast.

The Dwarika's

Kathmandu

10/10 Excellent

Exceptional service. Staff are helpful and even brought a complimentary cake to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The Taran restaurant is excellent for breakfast, so many options and selections for foods! However, the dinner items were underwhelming. Also, the door to the kitchen is noisy and distracting when dining. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in well maintained living museum to conveniently get around.

Hotel Country Villa

Nagarkot

10/10 Excellent

On our last night in Nepal, we decided to stay in the Gaurishankar Suite since it was only ~$50 more than staying in the most basic rooms (note those did look very small) at the hotel. The suite is roomy, has a nice view, and a balcony (only complaint would be the wasp nest on the roof directly above the balcony which I'm sure they will deal with). I had read some reviews stating that the food was a sub-par buffet-only here. Fortunately, those reviews were completely wrong. There is a big...
