"This was a very lovely one night stop over. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed friendly front desk service, an easy check in, and a peaceful stay. Though there were obviously others staying at this location, we didn't hear a sound. Truly a pleasant experience. I did take one star off of condition, only because the beds, though comfortable, were a smidge indented in the middle and therefore could be uncomfortable for some. We had no trouble."

"Quiet getaway for a few days. Everything in the black hills area we wanted to see was a day trip away. Loved the creekside deck and next time we stay will reserve a room overlooking that side of resort. All employees we interacted with from checking in to checking out were so friendly and accommodating."

"The building is old so don’t expect it to be like a modern hotel. It has heat but no air conditioning. The windows are drafty so we had the heat on in early May during our stay because it snowed. No great dining options nearby so we drove to Deadwood to eat. Breakfast is minimal. Coffee and orange juice and bagels and muffins. But it’s historic and it’s unique so it’s a great place to stay for a different experience. "
