"Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. All of the water ran to the end of the shower and out into the bathroom instead of to the drain. Even after a very short shower the water had flooded the bathroom almost to the door. "Sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage. Supermarkt direkt ums Eck, See und Strandbad auch nur knapp 20min zu Fuß. Bahnhof für alle Ausflugsziele ca 3min entfernt. "The apartment is perfect for two - three adults and is a great "base" for local hiking in Switzerland and Austria. The drive time to Santis in Switzerland was 60-90 minutes and there are other local trails that were enjoyable. We did not engage in activities on the lake, but did walk pathway on the edge and it was nicely maintained with many local restaurant options. I recommend the place as it was close to the city, alpine hiking, clean, and good amenities in the kitchen."

"The self check-in facility wasn't working and it took 30 minutes and phone conversations with 3 people before a very helpful lady was able to assist. Another guest spoke to us during that time to say he'd had trouble checking in 3 days earlier and had not had any wifi access at all for his stay. "Die 5 Tage Mellau (Osterferien) in der schönen und sauberen Wohnung von Karoline waren super! Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, bekamen viele Tipps. "Lovely hotel, room, setting. Clean and spacious room. Although bad part was booking a table for a meal. After speaking to what looked like the bar manager he says 7pm so we had a drink at the bar to wait. He suggested nibbles which we had and got charged over the top for them 7pm came and went and we enquired if our table was ready at 7.20pm. he shrugged us off and ignored us after this so we ended up leaving at 7.45 to find a restaurant elsewhere.
