"Staff at the desk when we checked in were pleasant and helpful, giving us a few tips about the area. The hotel is spotless. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with clean bathrooms. There is a nice lobby bar and a restaurant on the premises which is very convenient. We would stay here again."

"We had such a great experience during my stay! Paige at the front desk was absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. She made sure everything went smoothly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Her customer service really stood out, and she made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay and staff who actually care about making sure everything is taken care of. Prairieview Cabin - with Hot Tub

"I loved staying at this cabin! Everything was absolutely perfect, ambience, cleanly, had everything I could need and more! The view of the pond during morning coffee and the hot tub with the sunset set the bar high. The bed was super comfy and overall very cozy cabin. Located close to Sullivan and within 20ish mins to the lake. I went to Wolf beach and had a great time! I will be back. Rose was wonderful as well!"

"With all the great reviews, I was expecting it to be immaculate and well maintained. That was not my experience. It was very comfortable and relatively clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full disclosure, my opinion could be slightly skewed because, for some reason, I thought the place was much closer to Effingham - but it was 45 minutes away adding an extra hour and a half to my trip. But that is NOT the hotel’s fault - I just didn’t check all the details closely enough on Expedia. But still, it was a solid 4."
Prairieview Cottage Retreat - Hot Tub Sunsets

"The home was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were great, and the large dining room table was the perfect place for gathering and enjoying meals and games. We were pleasantly surprised at being right next to the cornfield. Although we didn't use the hot tub, we did enjoy sitting outside to watch the sunset. It was the perfect place to get away, unwind, and unplug. The hosts were very nice and their attention and communication was great."
