Sugar Island - Waterfront property with Pontoon boat!

"This was a great little getaway located right on St. Mary’s River and we lucked out with good weather so we were able to still use the pontoon boat. Quiet neighborhood. Very easy check-in and checkout.please make note that you can only access the property via ferry. We thought it was such a fun experience!"

"This hotel is in a prime location right on the main tourist strip. We stayed in a bungalow. The accommodations are dated but were nice. The parking in front of the bungalow is a very tight fit. If you have a large truck and most of the rooms are rented out, I don't know how you get in and out of those parking spaces. Also, if you are a larger person or disabled in anyway, I am not sure how you could use the toilet in our room. The bathroom wall is so close to the toilet that there is about maybe 15" from the front of the toilet to the wall in front of you and about 6" to the wall next to you. I actually hit my head on the wall trying to sit down. Overall I would stay here again for the location."

"We decided to stay here based off of the incredible reviews, and I can honestly say, they did not disappoint! The rooms are clean and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable - even for those with chronic bad backs. The staff was always friendly and VERY helpful. The grounds are clean, and the parking is easy. The resort is very well lit and easy to find, and it's the soo, so everything is within an easy distance. VERY well priced. They were very accommodating for our late arrival. I couldn't say enough to explain how great of a stay this was. We will be returning to say the least!"

"Though the motel rooms were dated, they were very clean and very comfortable, especial the beds. I also liked the vast selection of television stations. It is conveniently located within 20 minutes of the Soo locks at Sault Ste Marie and only 60 minutes from Tahquamenon Falls. Very quiet and plenty of parking."
