It provides a quiet setting for relaxing, enjoying local food, and experiencing authentic village life without the distractions of a busier tourist hub. The surrounding hills offer pleasant walking routes directly from the village.

For families, staying near the main square is also practical. Children can enjoy the open space of the square, and the convenience of having eateries and shops within a short walk makes things easier.

Many local tavernas and shops are open, providing an authentic taste of Greek village life.

While summer (July and August) is popular for those who enjoy very hot weather and swimming in nearby coastal areas, it can be quite warm for extended outdoor exploration in the village itself.
