« We tried to check in at midnight after a long day that included a five hour flight after an hour delay. The night clerk was not very helpful. Assigned us a room on the fourth floor but would not give us a map of the property. It was dark and raining hard and we couldn’t find the outdoor elevator😩 We gave up, went back to registration and told him we wanted to cancel and spent the night on our daughter’s couch. « Very much enjoyed the location and proximity to Pinecrest and Twain Harte, the tall windows, fireplace and view. Kitchen was nice and bed very comfortable. The place was very quiet and relaxing. Spiral staircase took some getting used to. We had a fun trip. »
