« Wonderful place to be based for a trip to Ireland. Loved the private beach, the views of the lake, fishing on the lake, and of course the donkeys! Enjoyed lots of days out around Mayo and Sligo. Mary was a lovely host! Highly recommend the venue as place to enjoy in and of its self as well as base to go exploring! »

« Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin. »

« Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. »

« The lodge is just incredible! The lodge is situated in such a peaceful place, surrounded by cows, sheeps and lake. "We had a truly wonderful time at this hotel. The location was perfect and absolutely beautiful — ideal for a family getaway. Our children loved everything about it! They had so much fun playing mini-golf and spending time at the kids’ playground. They truly had a blast. The hotel itself was lovely, clean, and welcoming, with every detail thought out for both adults and children. The restaurant was excellent — delicious food, great atmosphere, and even the kids enjoyed their meals, which doesn’t happen often! (Kids stay kids :) ) The hospitality was flawless from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. It was such a fantastic experience that we’ll have to come back. Thank you for making our stay so perfect!"
