Pet-Friendly Lakeside Cabin with Kayaks and Canoe!

Welcome to Cattail Cabin, one of four pet-friendly lakefront stays from O’Connell Cabin Co. This is the Lower Holly Lake cabin built for families who want a fishing boat at the dock and a little extra fun downstairs. Built in 2018 on the shores of Lower Holly Lake in Stone Lake, Wisconsin, it is an open-concept retreat with rustic charm and modern comfort.

A few things to know first:

-Parking is limited to 4 vehicles. The driveway is the only place to park, and it is not very big.
-We welcome up to 2 dogs. The pet fee is $150, and we ask that you declare pets on your reservation.
-If you are thinking of bringing your own boat, ATV, or snowmobile, get in touch so we can talk logistics. The road in is tight, and so is the driveway.

What makes Cattail Cabin different:

-Sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, with a finished walk-out basement. About 2,000 square feet. The third bedroom is an open loft — great for kids.
-A fishing boat with trolling motor is included, plus 2 kayaks, a canoe, a pedal boat, and a lily pad. On a quiet midweek day, Lower Holly Lake can feel like it is yours.
-The walk-out basement is the game room: ping pong and an arcade setup for rainy afternoons or late nights.
-A gas fireplace on the main floor, a screened-in porch, and a large deck looking out over 48-acre Lower Holly Lake.
-Full kitchen with a center island and a dining table that seats 8.

Location and the outdoors:

Cattail Cabin is about 10 minutes from the town of Stone Lake — pubs, antique shops, a micro-brew/coffee house, and a wine bar. Hayward is about 20 minutes north for food, shopping, and year-round events. The cabin sits on a snowmobile and ATV route, and the lake is a quiet spot for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing for Northern Pike and panfish. The CAMBA trail system is a drive away if you want bigger mountain-bike mileage.

Also included: firewood for the fire pit, a Blackstone gas griddle, high-speed internet, Smart HDTVs, a king bed in the master, laundry, and a collection of books and games.
