"We really enjoyed our time at Starkhaus! It is an easy walk or very short drive into Sister Bay, where you can enjoy the beach, marina, restaurants, and shops. It is also an easy drive to Newport State Park, Ellison Bay, Bailey's Harbor, etc. In short, we were able to kayak, hike, see the Cana Island Lighthouse, visit the Ridges Sanctuary, etc. within only a 15-20 minute drive. "We loved our week at this cabin! It had everything we needed. Was very comfortable to hang out, well setup for cooking and grilling, great bathroom and shower (and when does a cabin ever have that?!), comfortable bed, nice fire pit and patio. Everything we wanted for a relaxing week, and in a spot that was easy to get to local waterfalls and hikes, with town super close by, yet you’re in the woods! Win win. We’d happily stay again!"
