« Perfect communication with hostess - prompt replies bur not intrusive. Truly outstanding location right on the water. Quiet and secluded. Well appointed kitchen. Close to all the hiking and restaurants we love. Roomy enough. A shower with more flow would be very nice but probably can't be accommodated on a private septic system. Snug and warm in chilly weather. Good firewood provided for private fire ring. »

« We enjoyed our stay in Gladstone. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The weather was frigid while we were there so most of the time we stayed in and enjoyed the fireplace. We brought our own wood but there are gas stations in the area that sell firewood in the winter.We had some delicious breakfasts at the Swedish Pantry in Escanaba. We would like to come back when it is warmer. »

« This is the most beautiful location in the area! It is family friendly with all the necessary amenities to make one feel at home. The location is perfect for a day of adventure in Door County, and yet a quiet place to return to in the evening. I didn’t use the fire pit this time but it is a highlight at the end of the day to relax and watch the sunset. Absolutely gorgeous! I am looking forward to returning in the summer. »
