Escape to Pembrokeshire! Charming, spacious cottage - well located for exploring

"A very large and comfortable house with great views over the countryside. Everything spotlessly clean and well appoointed. Jess was very welcoming. Llawhaden Castle, an old ruin, is just a couple of hundred yards away. Pembroke Castle is an easy trip and absolutely worth it. This was our second visit, and we hope to return."

"We stayed at Swallow Cottage in June 2026. The price was good compared to other things in the area so we were prepared for it to be a bit dated and tired. This didn’t bother our party of four adults and four children. We felt able to relax and not worry too much about the children. It felt very safe and they absolutely loved the garden and the play park. They were able to wander back and forth by themselves, even the three year old twins. The main room was big with lots of space to spread out and there’s a lovely big table for meals together. As grandparents we put ourselves in the annex which was very peaceful though the plumbing was a little suspect, with the plug blowing out of the shower when we flushed the toilet! The children are already asking to go back…….maybe next year we will!"

What really stood out was the staff—everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome and added to an already enjoyable experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others."
