Featuring three bedrooms spread out over two floors, there’s lots of room for everyone, yet the spacious open floor plan means it’s easy for you to stay close, too. With a serene back deck that offers a birds-eye view of the Meramec River below, Dogwood Cabin is the perfect home base for an unforgettable family trip to the ozark mountains. Fantastic Family Living Space A quaint front porch, which opens to reveal a wide-open living and dining space. Dark wood floors, glossy wood-paneled ceilings, and rustic wood wainscotting provide the perfect mountain cabin vibe, while two overstuffed sofas and a leather wingback armchair provide the comfort. In the corner, a large HDTV sits over the crackling stone fireplace, and a glass-paneled door leads outside to the deck. This soaring space feels like your own private treehouse overlooking the river bed, treetops, and wildlife below. Wide Open Kitchen & Dining Next to the living area is the spacious and homey kitchen. Natural wood cabinets surround a full suite of premier stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, electric range, and refrigerator. It was perfect for our friend float trip weekend. Everything was clean and had all the needed essentials. Close enough to town to visit grocery store and restaurants but also in the country setting. We used Kickin’ K floats for our float trip and it was great to end at the cabin property and not have to drive after a day of fun on the river. The Riverview Pavilion was a great place for the family to hang out we did some line dancing barbecued and had music. They must have is the golf cart rental this was super cool we were able to ride down to the river accesses and explore the farm a little. Always felt safe and loved the hot tub after a day on the river. Nieces said the beds were great and best sleep they’d had in a long time. Communication is great also. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and took total advantage of the large kitchen to make large home-cooked meals. The hot tub, deck & fireplace were also great for all of us to spend the extra relaxing time just hanging out and enjoying life! So grateful for the opportunity to stay at this property! It is a pretty great location, while not exactly on the river as stated it is only about a 300 yard walk down hill. The farm dog, Cinderella, was concerning considering she was all bones. It was really unfortunate to see such a nice animal so severely underfed. Their is a beautiful cold water spring/cave right around the corner down river. Overall we had a great time. ##### Frank P.
