Family Getaway

Our stay was good. Unfortunately, we had lots of rain and thunderstorms. It appeared as those the master suite sustained some water damage from the rain on the left wall. I’m not sure if that was to be expected or not. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

Overall good!

Overall we had a Wonderful stay! Getting into the ally with a Big truck was hard especially with all of the road work. We weren't able to get in or out at specific times. The house is beautiful on the inside but so so on the outside. Next to a Very busy road! Ambulances, fire trucks, cops, traffic all night long. It was an awesome location though close to everything we wanted do. todo!during the dayoutside.

No internet during stay

The house was nice and beds comfortable. The wifi did not work. It connected but said no internet. The TV did not work without the wifi. We notified them within an hour of arriving about the internet and TV, it took them a while to respond & said they would send maintenance the next day...maintenance never came. When staying somewhere from out of town it's imperative to have internet. We had young children with us who wanted to watch TV but could not. The filtered water & ice on the fridge did not work...displayed error message. There were dirty towels left in a bathroom drawer. The coffee pot just spued out coffee grounds into the pot so had to go convenience store to buy coffee every time we needed it. There was old trash & thick dust under beds so much that when something fell on floor & rolled under bed it was gross. I had to pay a cleaning fee for this. Unfortunately Disappointed for all the issues,

Clean and loved the amount of beds. Great communication, but unfortunately we had some issues. Microwave didn't work, blown fuse and never fixed properly (circuit issue). Refrigerator had water and crushed ice, but error showed so didn't work and we wanted ice for our water bottles on a 90 degree day. Carbon monoxide detector was missing batteries. Note on busy street and lots of police cars and ambulances.

Great for big families

My family of eight decided to take a trip to St.Louis. We chose this property as it was close to everything that we wanted to see ask tourists. The property overall is quite nice it's a large home so the children can play and have space of their own. It was cleanly as well.

Comfortable, well appointed family jome

This is a home that served our family very well for an early Christmas with family. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets available if needed. We took several walks around the neighborhood area and felt safe. The driveway in the back is a bit steep and requires some careful maneuvering. We enjoyed the programmable coffee maker for hot coffee each morning. There is only one shower/bath so it did require some coordination for getting everyone ready in the morning. The home itself is a beautiful old home that has been updated and is very livable. We will definitely keep this in mind for future stays.

Dirty top to bottom.

We arrived and the property had not been cleaned from the last party that stayed there. They sent a cleaning crew out that failed to wash the sheets in the beds. We found "items" from the past residents and had to was all of the bedsheets and complete the rest of the cleaning ourselves. We will never book with JZ Vacation Rentals again and will avoid them at all costs. They failed to contact us back when asked about fixing the mistake.

Comfortable and convenient

The home is conveniently located to the highway, zoo, restaurants and parks. The house was comfortable and clean. The family enjoyed cooking and playing games. Overall a fun time.

Pros: House has plenty on beds(7 that sleep 10). A/C worked great. Plenty of seating for meals. Great location. Very close to the Hill, science center, zoo, botanical gardens, Grant’s farm, Imo’s, Ted Drewes, Courtesy Diner… Cons: A lot of ants on kitchen counter, only one shower, furniture uncomfortable in TV room, no garbage disposal, little counter space

Neighborhood looks pretty sketchy holes in some of the buildings and parts of roofs on the ground. The house we stayed in itself was great. Good location for just about all your St. Louis needs

Great Rental

Cute house, great location

House was exactly as shared on the listing. JZ properties were easy to work with and communicated everything we needed in a timely manner. The property is in a great location next to Forrest Park and a short drive to anything you want to do in St. Louis. Parking is a bit tight, but we were able to get 3 cars into the tight, ally parking that was made available. We will definitely keep this place on our list of revisits when we are back in St. Louis.
