"I stayed four nights in the Crown Room while in town for my daughter’s birthday. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was coffee ready every morning, which I appreciated. A few things stood out as less positive. When I first walked in and was looking around, I stepped in dog feces. That was an unpleasant welcome. I also regularly heard someone walking around on what seemed to be the third floor above me, which woke me up at times during the night. The website describes this as an “alternative bed and breakfast” and invites guests to help themselves to items in the pantry and fridge. In practice there was no clear separation between host food and guest food, which felt confusing. Designated guest areas or clearer labeling would help. I only saw the on-site host twice. She lives at the property. I’m fairly shy, and she came across as somewhat unfriendly, so interactions felt a bit awkward. Overall the space itself was fine and the bed and coffee were positives, but the cleanliness issue on arrival, the nighttime noise from above, the unclear shared kitchen setup, and limited host interaction left me with mixed feelings."

"Beautiful restored home, beds were so comfortable. Quick drive to st Joe museums and downtown. Owner is super nice guy. We had a mix up with Expedia over the nights planned and he fixed it quickly."

"We were a group of 4 women on a girl's trip and this was the perfect location. We were able to do arts & Crafts outside enjoying the sounds of nature. A Bald Eagle came and visited us a couple times a day. It was perfect size for the 4 of us. We enjoyed cooking dinner inside each night and doing a fire bowl and smores at night. The host. Anthony, is one of the best hosts Ive stayed with. Always a good quick line of communication and always very clean accommodations. We would definitely stay again."
