Séjour de 5 nuits en juillet 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Carole P. 20 juin 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### HISTORY WITH ROBIDEUX LOVED THE REVIVAL OF WHAT WAS ONCE CERTAINLY A 'GRANDE DAME' The fireplace that was triggered to come alive as the sun set was a special touch, the ancient bedframe , the carved designs on the chairs, the lobby came to life around the fireplace showcasing the iron cherubs, the banisters reflected a gorgeous wooden patina, the arched window frames, the circled Bay windows all added to the Victorian aspects of the mansion. The history of who built the home and when would be welcome as a brochure in each of the separate apartments. The entire stay was a welcome respite and in a quiet neighborhood. The location on the hill overlooking (almost) the Missouri River, the coziness of the neighborhood, and the ambiance of the interior rooms all contributed to the restful and enjoyable stay. I enjoyed meandering up and down Museum Hill District. along with the Robidoux Row Museum. Fascinating history ##### Carole P. The private apartment was perfect for what I needed. Fully functional kitchen, plenty of space, quiet and in a safe neighborhood. Walkable to several great dinner spots, bars, and a brewery. Host was very responsive and accommodating; I was in town several days for work and needed to extend my trip, which she helped me do without adding any extra charges. It's old 1900's brick home turned into multi units, furniture is old, double bed, not even a queen, NO Dishwasher, Tiny Shower, cramped bathroom and toilet area, size of a half bath in normal world, old old furniture, extremely uncomfortable to sit in. Windows still drafty (very old) but air conditioner worked very well. Queen bed very soft, nice linens. TV was confusing to us (seniors) w/o clear directions. Lovely old Victorian residences near.
