Welcome to Island Vibe! This 2BR/2BA BEACHFRONT condo (Villa H-5) is ideally located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and Lighthouse Park! The living area is bright and beachy with comfortable furnishings, flat screen TV, VCR/DVD player and CD stereo, and opens onto a furnished beachfront deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Just past the living room is a large dining table for up to 6 with additional seating at the breakfast bar. The well-equipped kitchen with Gulf views has all standard appliances and a balcony overlooking the parking area. Upstairs is the beachfront master bedroom with King bed, beachfront balcony, TV, DVD/VCR and private bathroom with newly tiled shower. Across the hall, a second bedroom offers 2 double beds and a TV. A bathroom with combination tub/shower and laundry center is located just outside of this bedroom. Both bathrooms remodeled Spring of 2025. Tile floors throughout the main living space with carpeted bedrooms, there are 12 stairs to reach the main living area and another 12 stairs to reach the bedroom/bathroom level. The Villas of St. George complex has 42 units. The community offers use of a large community swimming pool with outdoor shower, park-style charcoal grilling area, fish cleaning station and beach boardwalk. Centrally located, you will have easy access to the center of St. George Island where area businesses and restaurants are located! The Villas of St. George Island was constructed in the 1980's, and while it is a treasured piece of St. George Island history, the older architecture results in more narrow stairwells than modern day condominiums, so please plan accordingly. Loved the beach front balcony and easy access to the beach and pool. Quiet, never heard neighbors. Easy access to restaurants and shops. Would recommend!!I spent most evenings sitting on the balcony listening to the waves, star gazing, and reading. I will point out to be aware of the stairs. It is two flights of stairs and they are steep and can be hard for anyone with bad knees especially. Just be sure to pack things in smaller, easier to carry ways since you have to take everything up and down the stairs. We also packed fans and the place had one fan. The a/c worked just fine, but given the FL humidity and the bedrooms on the 3rd level, it was a little too warm at night so the fans were a must. ##### Crystal T. But a lot of the inside of this unit looks like hers did at that time. I had the opportunity to compare it to two other units that family had rented and this unit by far needs to be updated. Bathrooms are original equipment. Wicker bedroom and living room furniture (living room was very uncomfortable, we stayed 2 weeks). Kitchen had new appliances but that was it. Counter tops were Formica. Pots and pans and bowls were very disorganized and difficult to find, stuck back in a corner cabinet. The outdoor furniture was brand new but adarondex style and very uncomfortable. ##### Cindy H. The location is perfect, everything you need is walkable or bike-able, the condo is steps away from the ocean. The condo location is very convenient and beach front is always wonderful! The condo is within walking distance or a quick bike ride of several places. The beach is steps away. Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from the balcony! We are older and the stairs to access this condo were a challenge plus all of the bedrooms and baths are upstairs. The beds are comfortable, but the main room furniture not so much. All in all, everything is better at the beach! ##### Carole Q. Small problems like stopped up plumbing, remote for DVD player didn’t work, had to request a new blender. But staff was there almost immediately to fix the plumbing and even brought us a brand new blender. View was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again. ##### Victor C.
