This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is located at 609 E Gulf Beach Drive and is only .8 miles or a quick 2-minute drive to the St. George Island Lighthouse. Beach Puppies is a short walk to the sugary sands of St. George Island. Highlights of this home- Pool with limestone pavers that keep the pool area floor cooler, so your feet don't get as warm in the hot Florida sun. Heated for a fee! Another featured amenity is a fenced hangout spot for your four-legged best friend! Your dog(s) can enjoy the gated grassy area complete with a fire hydrant for their outdoor needs! Considering Beach Puppies? Message to make an appointment for a tour of this home! Beach Puppies is a clean, pet friendly home that provides all the little extras that make this vacation house feel like home. From bean bags for your fur babies to an extra refrigerator and a Keurig, Beach Puppies has guests in mind. Bonus amenities include: Ping Pong table, 2 Kayaks with Paddles and Life vest, Corn Hole Game, Red Neck Golf, and an Aluminum beach cart. Upon entry you will find a seating area for coffee with an island view, and a Welcome booklet with information about the home and the island. The open concept living/dining/kitchen provides a light and airy atmosphere with plenty of comfy seating. Entertain and cook in an organized, well stocked kitchen with a pantry and seating at the bar. Bar seating seats 3, and kitchen table seats 6\. Windows surround the dining area allowing for palm and ocean views. You will also see the entry porch and seating outside of this window. All three bedrooms are located on this upstairs main floor. The King master bedroom has a private deck with seating for two, and a walk-in closet inside of the bathroom. Both queen rooms have flat screens, and ample dresser storage. Off the living room is a unique storage room with window views that lets out to the back deck and leads to the indoor staircase to the downstairs area. Living room sofa lets out to a queen size sleeper sofa. Downstairs is the perfect pet hang out space! You will find more comfy seating, game amenities, a mid-size refrigerator, laundry room, and a private bathroom with shower/sink/toilet. There is ample room for your fishing poles, beach floats, and more. This downstairs space conveniently lets out to the carport area and has a screened door so your pooch can watch you from the doorway. Under the carport you will find a Ping Pong and Picnic table, and more comfortable seating with a large flat screen T.V. to enjoy in the open salt air. With the outdoor charcoal grill and your cooler nearby, you will find this to be your favorite new hangout spot. The large driveway allows for plenty of parking and sits next to the St. George Island multi-use path. This path is great for walking your dogs and letting you explore the island hotspots and downtown shopping area. Beach Puppies has a lot to offer for your St. George Island getaway and we invite you to stay. Appointments available for viewing year-round. For High season, we ask for a Sunday turn day. The property is very convenient to the beach and even a small Piggly Wiggly. The pool was wonderful, the kitchen was stocked very nicely. The cons were the Tv in the living room was so small, ceiling fan worked but the metal to it had fallen down and was hanging on rod, the refrigerator leaks water in both bottom drawers so we had to empty that out daily. We told the owner about this. Another downfall was there is no umbrella by pool, and a chair was broken. Location yes but needs updates. ##### Patti H. This is a great place to stay for a multi family trip. Although the refrigerator had a fishy smell upon arriving that took a few days to resolve, I still give this place an over all 5 stars. This is our second time staying in SGI. The first time we stayed at a condo near the beach and while that was awesome we wanted to be a bit more secluded from everyone and have access to a private pool as well as a place for out tiny puppy. Beach Puppies was exactly what we needed. Even though this property isn't right off the beach, you still have a partial ocean view and it's literally a 4 minute walk till your feet are touching sand. My family and I like to walk (especially in the mornings / evenings when the temp isn't too hot). But you're about 8 - 12 minutes walking distance from the Blue Parrot, Shops and the SGI Lighthouse. Don't forget to do some stargazing. Even from the private balcony in the master bedroom, you could still make out the hazy Milkyway. If you have a nice camera, setup a shot on the beach and leave the shutter open for a few seconds for a truly magical shot. Going to the beach at night is an absolute must for stargazers though. You don't realize how much light pollution in the cities blocks out some of the most brilliant stars. The kayaks are very convenient, but you are responsible for getting them to the water. My wife and I didn't have a portable kayak mover and if we did, it would have made getting the kayaks to the water so much easier. Instead, we both took an end and carried it to the beach. If this place is available, don't hesitate to book it. The Schaafs ##### Corey S. Beach Puppies had all we needed for our stay. We did have to end our trip early because Hurricane Debby made an entrance. Beach was very convenient and rented a golf cart at Jolly Rogers and that was fun to drive around in. We hope to be back!!! ##### martha s. My bother in law brought his boat so He went out in it every day except the one day it rained. The water was calm and the pretties I have seen here. This is my 4th trip to the island. they saw many Sharks and caught a mess of Maui Maui. They where Delicious. We Recommend and will Be Back! The Pool was Awesome as well.... ##### Lynn W. The pictures so the property no justice the living space is so much bigger then expected. The pool is also bigger than expected. My kids age 12-18 really enjoyed it. SĂ©jour de 3 nuits en mai 2024 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Ryan S. 26 nov. 2023 Points forts : PropretĂ© #### Pet friendly, good location, needs some TLC The good: Good location, nice pool, plenty of space inside and out, lots of kitchen appliances/utensils/dishes, lots of beach items (kayaks, paddle ball, corn hole, etc) included. Property manager answered texts/messages even on Thanksgiving. The less good: Everything needs a good spruce up...furniture, appliances, landscaping, extra blankets, decor...everything is just sorta dated and not super-well maintained. New pool, but construction materials left sitting in the yard. New fenced in dog-area, but it's both overgrown and bare at the same time. Railroad ties along the driveway are disintegrating with nails everywhere. Stuff like that. If it doesn't bother you, no worries. Nothing too bad and maybe during peak season it's better maintained, but not "5 star" when we visited around Thanksgiving 2023\. Also, internet was fine but cable wasn't working while we were there. If you're there at a time (Thanksgiving, NYE) where you might want to watch TV, have a backup plan. All in all, if you want to visit SGI and bring a pet, this is a decent spot. ##### Ryan S.
