"Overall it was fine but the hotel is outdated and could use upgrading. Shower facilities wasn’t suitable for a toddler, only a big overhead shower and it was hanging off the wall. Windows are old with lots of mould around them and let through cold air so the room was very cold and there was no heating options. The tv wouldn’t turn on. Found that the switch was off on the wall so turned it on but it still wouldn’t turn on. Bed was comfy though and staff and food were fabulous."

"Our stay was great. From the convenient parking, to lovely toiletries in the bathroom, to the comfortable guest room to chill with a drink it was excellent and all rounded off by a beautifully freshly cooked gorgeous breakfast in the morning. We were totally satisfied and will return when back in the area."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The host were exceptionally gracious, welcoming, and attentive, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere throughout our visit. The breakfast was truly outstanding—easily one of the most memorable meals we have had while traveling. "This is a lovely cottage with spectacular views of the Shannon estuary. The hosts were very welcoming and responded quickly when we were settling in and had a couple of questions. We had two boys under the age of 5- the box of Lego’s was much appreciated! The boys also loved seeing the friendly cows in the field outside the patio.The nearby town of Kildysart had shops for everything we needed. We enjoyed a lively and welcoming night of live music at one of the pubs. It was the perfect base for exploring the area."
