The breakfasts were amazing. Great atmosphere and perfect location. We never used our car in a three night stay. The stairway is very steep if you get a room upstairs. Someone did offer to help us with our bags. Staff was great. Fresh cookies each day!
We had a quick but wonderful night stay at Old Powder House Inn. We stayed in Memories room. The bed was absolutely wonderful for us. Great night of sleep to awake for a tasty breakfast in the beautiful parlor. I would recommend staying here.
We loved the location and free parking. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoy the area. The breakfasts were outstanding! The young lady on Saturday was so joyful and nice. The bed was comfortable; however, the noise from the street below was a bit crazy. (note the ear plugs. ). We enjoyed the porch and the company of the other folks.
This was our first time staying at the Inn. It was wonderful. Clean, beautiful property, comfortable bed and room, lovely breakfast and snacks/beverages all day. We enjoyed sitting on the upstairs porch in the evening. Lovely stay, and we highly recommend.
Our stay was lovely! We enjoy older historic homes that are now Bed and Breakfasts so we were delighted to stay here. This one was welcoming and very comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious and the presentation was perfect! We loved chatting with the staff learning about the owners and some history of the property. We will be back for sure!
The property is very well maintained, room very comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and breakfast delicious!
I took a day trip to St. Augustine with my partner and we stayed at this inn. It’s in the heart of the historic center of St. Augustine so we did not have to drive once since we got there. The room was very clean and well decorated. The amenities were great, and the breakfast was amazing. The staff were super kind as well. I would return to this inn should my travels lead to st. Augustine again.
The place is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and hospitable. They provided free beverages and snacks and served a wonderful breakfast. Location is great, just minutes walk to St. George Street.
We had the BEST time staying here! The property is absolutely adorable and full of history. Every room looked beautiful, but we chose to stay in “Splendid Time,” and it was perfect.
The location is amazing, and the hospitality truly couldn’t be beat. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The breakfast was to die for—so fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared!
We loved every minute of our stay and would come back again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this wonderful place!
What a great stay! So close to everything just walk with free parking for your car. Excellent breakfast and snacks plus everyone is just so kind and accommodating they just make you feel special! I would definately recommend.
I LOVED our stay at the Powder House! The breakfast was the best I’ve had at any bed and breakfast. Made from scratch, quality ingredients, just phenomenal. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the covered porches were great places to sit and relax with a drink. The location is great-so close to everything. I don’t want to stay anywhere else in St. Augustine!
From with the very kind and helpful staff, beautiful furnishings, comfortable bedding, delicious breakfast on fine china, two large outdoor covered porches with rocking chairs, plus free parking, our anniversary weekend was a delightful experience. The best part is it is just steps away from the historic downtown fun. We hope to return again soon.
