"Traveled here for a memorial service. I think this is a newer hotel, and the building appears clean and updated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The only real shortcoming was the breakfast. I wasn't impressed with either the omelets or scrambled eggs. And of the 3 cereal offerings, two were kid's cereals (Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes both of which I liked when I was a kid!) But very few children were here. And the third choice was Special K (yecch). Maybe substitute Raisin Bran or Cheerios for one of the kid's cereals. Just my personal preference, others might disagree. A bit pricey, especially on Friday night. But overall, I was happy with my stay and would stay here again."

"Holiday Inn Express was full on Saturday, so moved here for my last night. Older building but appeared to be well maintained. Sort of a strange floor plan, and no elevator. But only two floors, so no issue. Very quiet, and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the staff at the desk were friendly. Would stay here again."

"Wonderful facility for large group. Outside space is also excellent. Huge “dorm room” on 3rd floor would be excellent for multiple cousins or siblings. 5 queen beds plus futon! Childhood memories could be made here! The craftsmanship and excellent woodworking here are unique and impressive!"

"The room and hotel were clean, the pool and sauna not quite as much, but I did use both. The sauna controls were not easy to use but I managed. Fridge in the room but no microwave. For the price one should be included. The Location is good, close to the small business area and the beach."

"The property was great, as my brother and I are getting up in age the closeness of the cabin to the dock was only about 30 feet. And the dock was very sturdy, caught some nice large mouth bass and sunfish. Will definitely stay again if possible. Brandon was very helpful with questions we had. Had a very nice stay. The weather didn’t cooperate for a couple days but that’s Mother Nature. Very clean, beds were very comfortable. Thanks Brandon"
