It covers nearly 40 miles, with 20 in Maryland and 20 in Pennsylvania. The trail is surrounded by breathless scenery, and the majority of it takes you through stretches of woods and farmland. It covers nearly 40 miles, with 20 in Maryland and 20 in Pennsylvania. The trail is surrounded by breathless scenery, and the majority of it takes you through stretches of woods and farmland.
