"It was an okay stay. Room amenities we felt were not all there. We only had 2 shower towels and 2 hand towels for 3 guests. No sponge for doing dishes. Always had to ask for pool or beach towels. We had a great time but water pressure was terrible."

"I like the mini kitchen but didn't use it. I liked that you could hear the ocean from the room, but didn't like the pool and parking lot being between the hotel and the ocean."

"Not enough parking"

"We had an ocean front balcony room that was very nice. It was in very good condition with a small kitchenette. The bathroom was roomy and nice. Front desk was so friendly and helpful very accommodating. We also went to the Tiki bar and restaurant. The food was very good. Over all we had a wonderful stay."

"Great place to stay in Southport. Room was spacious, immaculate, and had everything we needed. There is plenty of seating on the river and by the pool, which is also by the river a quick ride into town or if you’re a walker you can definitely walk."

"Great location, only a few blocks from the boardwalk and right on the seashore. Close to restaurants, shopping, and the marina. The hotel is automated with no staff on site. You are notified by email with a code to enter your room. There is a phone number to call if you need something, but no daily room service. The front doors to the room were dirty, along with the white plastic rocking chairs on the balcony. Cleanliness is 3 stars, but with an additional 30 minutes of cleaning could bring it to 4 or 5 stars. Don't get me wrong, overall it was a good experience for someone looking for a quieter experience. Parking was convenient. We walked everywhere."

"My daughters and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were only there for two nights but we were definitely impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff. We have just one minor complaint which may seem silly, but the room only had one roll of toilet paper at a time. When we ran out and called for more, they brought one roll. I had just never experienced rationed toilet paper before. It was just more of an annoyance to not have one as a back up and had to call for more. Anyways, end rant. Overall, I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone looking! "
