"It's quite a lot further up the mountain than we expected. Roads are rough going. You need good suspension. House had leaking washing machine and dryer needs upgrading. Stove top needed cleaning. But the house was very clean. The deck was a great place to have your morning tea and a good book. More seating needed on decking as two seats for a family wasn't enough. Management company was very responsive, professional and welcoming. I would rent again just because of management company."

"My youngest son turned 40, so we all went to Salida for a family vacation.. The cabin was awesome lots to do around it. Played corn hole, creek near by and nice hot tub. Whole family really enjoyed the trip."

"The property was beautiful (especially once there was a dusting of snow). Indoor parking a plus. The ski in- ski out was fantastic and one of the reasons we chose this location. They have onsite rentals as well as ticketing a minute from the slope. Most units have lockers on main level for skis and boards (very handy). The staff was very kind, knowledgeable and Dan the manager was exceptional, detailed and very timely with responses and accommodation needs. We only tried the Cooper Den (new this year) and it was good but overpriced for simple bar food & drink. Lots of water fountains, pools, hot tubs and restaurant options. Gift shop moderately priced. Walkable to town and we loved that. We can’t wait to return in 2026."

"Our stay at Cowboy Village Resort was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The cabins were cozy, spotless, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay—warm wood interiors, thoughtful touches, and plenty of space made it feel like our own little mountain retreat. The location was unbeatable: tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private, yet just a short walk from the heart of Jackson. It made exploring the town and the nearby national parks incredibly easy. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Every interaction felt personal, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the amenities too—parking right by the cabin, a great pool and hot tub area, and that classic Western charm throughout the whole property. Cowboy Village Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jackson Hole!"
