Wilton Castle is a masterpiece of vision, heart and elegance. The owners / hosts are two of the most outstanding people we have ever met. The castle exceeded our expectations on every level. The service was flawless, and our stay was absolutely unforgettable.

This place is absolutely magical! The property is enchanting, the hostess fascinating and the breakfast out of this world! The shepherd’s huts are so charming, I guess you could call it “glamping”? The one thing I would say is that my knees aren’t great and I found the steps to the huts a little tricky, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but other than that it’s a 10 out of 10! I wish I could have stayed longer.

This was our favourite B&B, Cathy the host was delightful, lots of info, suggestions, and the breakfast was top notch, will defiantly e back , beautiful accommodation.

Beautiful 1500s castle that could have possible been built by an ansestor of mine. We were fascinated by the history of the building and got to go into the castle tower and on the roof top. We did the farm walk of the grounds and got to see chickens, sheep and pet the horse. Lovely grounds in the country, wish we could have stayed longer to see more and go into town.

This stay was clean, comfortable, organized and beautiful. The host was lovely and so helpful! Wonderful place to stay

We had flown through the night from Canada then driven several hours from Dublin to Dingle. What an awesome way to end our day and start our tour of Ireland. The staff was very welcoming and could not have done anything more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The dinner that evening was excellent and the morning breakfast was exceptional. Waking up to our view over the ocean was remarkable. We stayed for 2 nights and could have stayed much longer.

Pauline welcomed us so warmly, provided excellent information about the area, and gave all the extra care when she knew I wasn’t feeling well. As well, the Irish breakfast was amazing !! Highly recommend this B and B !!

This hotel is located in the heart of Kilkenny about 2 blocks from the castle. We did notice a little clutter and congestion in the parking lot (free parking included with stay) but only because of some ongoing renovations during our stay. Very clean, quiet, beautiful spot with all the amenities one could want. Pods are so nicely done and property feels like a private guest retreat! Sauna and hot tub with spectacular views. Outdoor seating a propane fire pit on the main house veranda is so cozy. Samuels Heritage is a very nice clean property. Views from the property are wonderful. They provide a great variety of delicious food at breakfast. Although there isn't a restaurant within walking distance there a couple of places within a 5 minute drive the serve great food at reasonable prices. As we'd been travelling for a month we were in need of getting some laundry done and Susan took our laundry and had it done by the next morning.

A great stay! The rooms were great, the service too! We did a daytip to Jerpoint prior to arrival and to Ardmore the next day. Everything was perfect

We found the staff and property to be excellent. They were very cooperative in allowing an early check-in. The room was excellent. The property had a bar and dining options which we both used and enjoyed. The breakfast was a complete menu for us to select from and was excellent. We had after dinner drinks and good discussions with the staff. The property itself was located within walking distance of the town and there was ample parking on site.

We stayed 10 days in Ireland, driving around staying in different towns. We wanted to spend a day in Kilkenny and we decided to stay outside the city limits. We were a bit worried that it was too far, but it was worth it. The staff were excellent, the rooms were clean and felt like a traditional modern hotel. The bar and restaurant were good. I would 100% stay here again on my next trip.
