« We found the Manor through Expedia. We arrived later in the day and immediately had problems.
Our code didn't work, our "helper" was not accessible via text or call.
So I call the owner who changed the code.
We unload, leave for dinner and upon return, we wanted to relax. Nope!
I went to wash my hands, no towels, no paper towels. Thankfully I packed both just in case.
We then start looking for the remote to unwind - no remote. But in searching for I found everything I didn't want to...

« Overall a great place to stay.
Reasons why I’m not giving it 5 stars:
- lack of initial communication. We had no idea how to check in, room code etc. Turns out they’re still working the bugs out of working with Expedia.
- room was great but you can’t control your own temperature.
- walls are really thin. You can hear conversations outside of your room.
- breakfast was sub par.
Innkeeper was fabulous and helpful. She finally got us the text that should have been automated, but was not. That...

« We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hilo. Cute room! Clean, comfortable and had the amenities you’d hope to have in a single room setting. Host was kind and quick to be responsive. There are plenty of things to do within walking distance in Louisvilles “Highlands” neighborhood. Also close to downtown. I’ll come back here! »

« The property is beautiful.
Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable.
The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat.
Allen was so gracious and helpful.
The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs.
Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful.
I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...
